Estival Park Silmar Hotel - La Pineda

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk to a lovely beach. We had a blast at the nearby theme park, where our kids explored five themed worlds. The pools were quite nice and fit for all ages.

My wife says that the noise from other guests was a considerable distraction. For families with kids, it would be great to have more soundproofing options.

Gotta say, the food's very nice at estival park! Dinner changes every night-steak, rib, or fish, and you can snag bottles of wine too. Loved the poolside snack bar and the beach access was perfect for chilling.

Gorgeous hotel, breakfast was rich, stunning location in football stadium. Practical, neat room and affable staff with the service given by the driver. Very comfy bed, a balcony, a safe box, and a storage space;)))

The room was spacious and had a comfy vibe. Clean towels and toiletries were available, nice. The air conditioning worked great-definitely a plus. The furniture was a bit dated, but I was surprised by how comfortable I felt. The balcony was decent-sized with a side sea view, perfect for chilling after a busy day. Just a heads up, the sound from the evening entertainment could be heard, which might bother light sleepers. But overall, I had a good experience with the room.

The location is amazin, super close to the beach and the pools are nice and big. I loved that there's regular buses to places like salou and tarragona. The staff were friendly and helpfull too. My kids really enjoyed the beach, it was perfect for them! We also found nice little shops nearby.

But the cleaning wasn't that great, it was kinda lacking during our 9 nights. And the noise from other guests was pretty annoyin, especially at night.

The breakfast and buffet dinner were very good and great value for money. The hotel's location ( just across the road from a beautiful beach on the mediteranean sea) is excellent. When the entertainment finished at around 23-30 each night , the hotel was quiet and conducive to a good nights rest. The view from the third floor balcony where we stayed was beautiful and we really appreciated getting that room. The weather was so good that we did'nt get to using the gym or spa but from what we seen through the windows these facilities looked vrey impressive. The local bus service is excellent with many departures to Barcelona each day at reasonable fares. We were also able to spend a day at the Benedectine monastery at Montserrat which is also a famous Marian shrine located just over an hours journey by bus from the Estivel Park Hotel in La Pineda. The staff were really nice and could'nt have been more helpful or courteous.

The only slight crib we had with the Estival Park Hotel was the picnic breakfast we received on the morning of our departure.Maybe the staff should give a choice to the guests for the contents of the picnic.

The breakfast was inclusive and savoury for the fussiest of eaters for all three main meals, and the food was outstanding...

Great poolside snack bar and friendly staff, but evening entertainment noise can disturb sleep.

Hotel has good infrastructure. It has good location. We also liked the food at the hotel. Rooms are good size and clean.

the pools are very big and rarely crowded. dining experience ruined by noisy kids.

Location

The hotel is shabby and hasn't been updated since it was built. Food was not tasty air conditioning was switched off for the season (warm days in October), the room was too stuffy. Towels were rough texture minimal effort on the part of the upkeep of the hotel - they rely on customers simply coming for the sun and theme parks and not needing to be in the hotel much.

We very much liked an arrangement of our rooms! Breakfasts arranged us.

It is very a pity, that we could not reserve this hotel on more prolonged period.
